170266d096 Cleanup Eshell to rely less on dynamic scoping. 
* lisp/eshell/esh-opt.el (eshell-eval-using-options): Don't bind usage-msg,
last-value, and ext-command here.  Bind `args' closer to `body'.
(temp-args, last-value, usage-msg, ext-command, args): Don't defvar.
(eshell--args): Declare new dynamic var.
(eshell-do-opt): Add argument `args'.  Bind our own usage-msg,
last-value, and ext-command.  Pass `args' to `body'.
(eshell-process-args): Bind eshell--args.
(eshell-set-option): Use eshell--args.
* lisp/eshell/eshell.el (eshell): Use derived-mode-p.
* lisp/eshell/esh-var.el (eshell-parse-variable): Use backquote.

(eshell-remove-from-window-buffer-names): Make obsolete.
(eshell-buffer-name, eshell-unload-hook): Don't use them.
(eshell): Just use pop-to-buffer-same-window instead.

Borrowing a trick from vc-sccs.el, wrap the defgroup in a progn
so that the whole thing ends up in the generated autoload file,

c6d48e4781 Remove leading `*' from defcustom doc-strings. 
(esh-mode): Require it.
(esh-util): Use require rather than featurep and load.
(eshell): No need to test if eshell-mode is bound; remove obsolete
reference to eshell-auto.
(eshell-command, eshell-command-result): Don't require esh-mode
now that the file does.
(top-level): Move provide statement to the end of the
file.  Re-order and update commentary.
